The SRN Team
Founded and run by Broome Community College head basketball coach Jimmy Evans, a former 4-time collegiate All-American and professional European basketball player, the Sports Recruiting Network is a great new tool for High School athletes to get exposure and find the right college for them. The SRN team is comprised of 19 collegiate-athlete recruiters from all over the United States, and our goals are to eliminate the geographical restrictions that college recruiting comprises. No longer will athletes be stuck with choosing only from the colleges in their area, with the SRN you will be able to be seen by any college you wish.

How Does It Work?
It's actually very simple. You sign up for a spot on the Sports Recruiting Network and send us your video (highlight tape or game tape). We then give you a user name and password so that you can put in all of your stats and academic information(optional) for college coaches to see. ***You have complete access to this page so you can update it as your stats change*** Then we link the video page to your profile page so that coaches can not only see all of your stats, but they can watch you play right from their computer.

Top 5?
When signing up for the SRN, you will list the top 5 schools you are interested in, and can update those schools at any time. Then we at the SRN will send weekly updates of your stats to the coaches at all 5 of those schools. For example: Chris Baltz's Top 5 schools read as follows: St. John Fisher, Nazareth, Ithaca, Utica, and Hartwick. Every Monday we send an email to each school stating the last week in 3 games for Vestal High School Chris averaged 21 ppg, 10 rpg, and 5 apg in a 3-0 week for the Golden Bears. Your top 5 can change every 2 weeks by sending an email to the SRN updating your new top 5.

What About Schools Outside My Top 5 ?
This is the greatest part about the SRN, it gives you CONSTANT EXPOSURE. You the athlete can send an email to any school outside your TOP5 and express the interest you have in their school.
